the challenge
The mission was bold: double the brand’s followers and engagement rate within a single year, while strictly maintaining the global visual guidelines. We needed to prove that L'Occitane could be visually stunning and highly engaging for the Brazilian audience simultaneously.
the idea
Blend global elegance with local relevance. Design seasonal content, product launches, and brand narratives that resonate with Brazilian audiences while staying true to the brand’s refined French aesthetic.
Light up an industry by lighting up the room.
bts
As Creative Lead, I oversaw the strategy and visual direction, but the turning point was our performance. Because we hit our annual KPIs in just six months, we earned a level of trust unprecedented for the brand in Brazil.
This success granted us full autonomy to produce original, local assets. We moved from strictly adapting global assets to directing exclusive photoshoots and video content—including the brand's first locally produced warm-up campaign for Christmas featuring two major fragrance launches.
why it worked
We achieved 100% of our annual growth target in the first semester alone. By shifting the strategy to speak directly to the Brazilian culture—without diluting the French essence—we didn't just increase metrics; we unlocked a new creative operation for the brand, proving that local relevance drives global standard results.
